The Worms Head is situated in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty in the village of Rhossili. The hotel has a superb outlook over the majestic sweep of Rhossili Bay and the famous Worm's Head, which is owned by the National Trust. The hotel has been designed to take full advantage of its inspiring setting and each of the twenty bedrooms has a sea view. Opposite the hotel is a privately owned car park. The Worm's Head Hotel is an ideal base for touring the Gower Peninsula and West Wales or as a relaxing stop-over for the Swansea, Pembroke or Fishguard ferries to Ireland.

Rhossili itself is a well known centre for outdoor pursuits such as wind-surfing, fishing, hang-gliding, climbing and walking, and there is a famous bird sanctuary on Worm's Head. Those who feel less active are guaranteed a quiet spot on the three mile expanse of Rhossili Bay below the hotel, or may wish to take a stroll on the surrounding cliffs to take in the stunning landscape.

Gower Heritage Centre – The centre is located in the village of Parkmill, 8 miles west of Swansea. It is based around an historic 800 year old water powered corn and saw mill complex together with craft workshops that revive local rural trades. It is a popular venue for families and tourists of all ages. The Dylan Thomas Centre - The Dylan Thomas Centre is based in Swansea and is the focal point for studies and events based around Dylan Thomas. It has a permanent exhibition on Dylan Thomas and his life, as well as a shop stuffed with books, posters and memorabilia. The Centre is also home to the Ty Llen literature programme which puts on many literary events throughout the year, including the annual Dylan Thomas Festival during October and November.
